Standardized education is failing some of today’s high school students and mySTEP Institute is changing education as a call to action. Nowadays, students feel trapped in an outdated system that leaves them disenfranchised, actively disengaged, and unprepared for life after high school. Also, they may be in classes with disruptive peers and exhausted teachers.  Many may find some lessons unchallenging, inapplicable to their goals, and a waste of time. As a result, students around such an environment may become less engaged and lash out at home or with friends.

At mySTEP Institute, things are intentionally done differently. Our youth are looking for a radical change in education to develop their skills, expand their knowledge, and cope with technological advancements.  In contrast, it is not about putting learners into an antiquated system to meet required seat time with uninspiring lessons and irrelevant busy work. Rather, we are driven to transform standardized education into a personalized, enriched, learn-centered experience where learners are at the center of their own personalized learning plan.
